About
Kawka Films is the independent production home of Polish-American filmmaker Matylda Kawka.
Based in Brooklyn, Matylda makes documentary and narrative work rooted in trust, long duration, and a deep engagement with gender, desire, and the families we inherit and choose.
Her work has screened at international film festivals and been presented in Cannes. She holds degrees in Philosophy and Directing from the Łódź Film School.
